As we
already know that Motorola releases new generation of Moto E, Moto G, Moto X series
for every 10 to 12 months. Now, Motorola is going to launch 4th
generation of Moto G series i.e. Moto G4 aka Moto
G 2016 or Moto G 4th generation and
Moto G4 Plus.
Motorola
has invited press conference for the event to unveil highly anticipated Moto G 4th and Moto G4 Plus on May
17 in New Delhi.
The
most interesting and interactive thing in both handsets is about their rumors
i.e. rumors about their configuration. Moto G4 Plus have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Chipset
and Ram of 3 GB. Which is quite good for a budget smartphone with impressive
features and configuration. However the pricing is not unveiled for both
models.
Lenovo CEO ‘Yang Yuanqing’ confirmed
that Motorola will launch a smartphone on June 9.
‘Yuanqing’
did not reveal as to what the company will launch on June 9. However, there are
a lot of leaks and rumors that this time Motorola can launch Moto G4 and Moto
G4 Plus before the expected dates.
In Moto G4
Plus there can square-shaped fingerprint sensor as in the place of home button,
a speaker grille, autofocus sensors, front camera, rear camera with flash and
company logo below the camera.
A video (now
removed) displaying a prototype of the Moto G (Gen 4), was published on YouTube
through the 9to5 Google. The video showed the device which clearly lacked a
fingerprint sensor.
Although,
the shape of the handsets would look like rounder at its corners and matte
finish. Both Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are likely to be introduced on July 2016.
Though, it’s not official.
